Meet EKAM Foundation and be prepared to change the world

CIC Board member Anita Joshi strongly recommends everyone meet Dr. Sailakshmi Balijepalli, founder of the EKAM Foundation. As always, Dr. Joshi is right: we shouldn’t miss this opportunity.

The foundation was started on the basic premise that no child should be denied the right to healthcare. Ekam’s vision is a reduction in infant, child and maternal mortality rates.

The Ekam Youth Ambassadors program uses the model of community service and engagement to raise money for equipment and training for healthcare providers.
