Screening and discussion of “Love, Jordan”

CIC AmeriCorps member Dija is a talented actress and filmmaker. Her latest film, “Love, Jordan,” is about teen suicide and is sure to provide the basis for important discussions around Indy.

On June 12 Dija Henry screened her new film, “Love, Jordan” at First Baptist Church / First Karen Baptist Church. The film addresses youth and teen mental health, and we are discussing the film with a group of youth at the congregation. “Love, Jordan” is a film about teen suicide by CIC AmeriCorps member Dija Henry. After the film, there will be a discussion about how to provide suicide prevention training to communities and cultures that are less comfortable talking about mental health.
