Hoosiers of Many Faiths in Community

What’s happening at the Indy Festival of Faiths? Community Youth Forum

One of the most popular events of recent years is back: The Community Youth Forum. Youth from many religious traditions will gather to discuss the most important questions we face, and how we should address them.

2019 Community Youth Forum

Sunday, September 22: registration 11:30 am; Forum 12:00-1:00 pm
Indiana War Memorial
55 E. Michigan St.
Free and open to all

The Center for Interfaith Cooperation and the Niagara Foundation invite Central Indiana high school students to join in a conversation about the most urgent issues we face today. Some of the questions:

  • Why do individuals no longer hold to strong, positive values when they select certain role models?
  • In considering the diversity of religious orientations and traditions within our country, what types of challenges, influences, and opportunities do each community face?
  • What do various religious traditions teach us about positive health and well-being practices?

Parents and other adults can attend … but they have to listen, not lecture!

It’s free. Food will be provided. Registration starts at 11:30 AM. After the Forum, everyone should go outside for the Indy Festival of Faiths.
