As the third in its three-part series of interfaith workshops on emergency preparedness for congregations, the Center for Interfaith Cooperation and the office of Congressman André Carson are organizing a discussion of race issues, law enforcement, and communities. The featured speaker will be W. Jay Abbott, special agent in charge of the FBI’s Indianapolis office. Also speaking will be Marc McAuleavey, executive director at Serve Indiana, which is starting a program to address community and law enforcement relations in Indiana. An IMPD officer will explain cadet training procedures. Finally, CIC will invite workshop participants to continue talking and collaborating.
