John Strauss, digital audience growth editor for Lumina Foundation and a former public television producer, newspaper columnist, and online editor, talks about getting started, finding your niche and building your brand in a crowded digital media marketplace.
John Strauss is a former Associated Press correspondent, newspaper reporter, and broadcaster who taught journalism at Ball State University until joining an Indianapolis philanthropy recently as digital editor. He has given presentations on multimedia and content for news and public relations groups across the country and has a passion for engaging audiences online.
