What does it mean to be a strong woman? In this workshop led by writer, mother, and educator KC Chan-Brose, we will define what strength means to us based off the examples we see in our every day lives. We will read the writing of strong women and decide what we want the world to look like for our daughters. Then, we will discuss how we make that world.

We will write letters to our daughters, as well as re-write stories to model the themes that are lacking in children’s literature.
