As All Souls is majority Boomers, Rev. Anastassia and Nasreen Khan are leading this workshop meant to help our current membership gain skills and understanding in connecting with millennials (those ages 22-37), and welcoming and integrating them into our community.

Don Knebel will present a four-part series that will look at the many times and places over the last 2600 years where the Jewish people have been discriminated against, persecuted and killed because of their beliefs and practices.


“Anguish and Achievement: A Look at the Jewish Experience” — “In and Out of the Ghetto” — The Early Modern Era

This series will show how Jewish anguish and achievements have often been linked – the persecutions leading to opportunities for achievement and the achievements leading to more persecutions.


“Anguish and Achievement: A Look at the Jewish Experience” — Marked for Suffering — The Middle Ages

Alongside this history of anguish is the history of achievements of the Jewish people far out of proportion to their numbers.
