We’re switching it up this month to celebrate Juneteenth and black music month.
Join us for this special interactive and educational event! Natalie Pipkin will lead a drum circle followed by “Baba Amoah”.
Music has always channeled a message and we are always sending a message as young professionals. Learn the history of how the drum was used as a revolutionary tool and what lessons we can learn in this day and age about using our tools to pass a message.
Always followed by a social hour and networking.
Junior-teenth Week & Sow One Achiever’s Ball bring you an event celebrating young people across the city of Indianapolis. This is an opportunity for young people to get dressed up, red carpet style and come enjoy other young people. There will be food, dancing and guest entertainers! We hope to see you there!

A happy hour event in which Black/African American professionals can feel safe to network while celebrating our culture.
The Juneteenth Social is a one-of-a-kind networking event that aims to cultivate opportunities for Central Indiana’s black professionals to earnestly connect with one another without the mask (and/or armor) many of us wear daily in the face of microaggressions and the oppressive nature of the workforce.
Our event is completely FREE for attendees. One simply needs to provide a business card in order to gain entry.
Celebrate Juneteenth with a Civil War Reenactment, register for the Summer Reading program and participate in children’s activities, a writer’s workshop and more. Comic Patricia “Ms. Pat” Williams will be the keynote speaker and special guest speaker will be Dr. Anna-Lisa Cox, author of “The Bone and Sinew of the Land: America’s Forgotten Black Pioneers and the Struggle for Equality.”
This is the 2nd Annual Indy Juneteenth Festival. This is an event where we can party for the culture while enjoying good food, libation, family, and friends. There will be food trucks, live music, games, drum circle, performances, and much more. Bring the kids, bring big mama, bring the homies, bring your girl, bring everybody. Come root for the Juneteenth Youth All Stars as they compete in our first youth tournament.
The After Party will be at Illusions Bar and Grill at 3661 W 86th St Indianapolis, IN from 10-3am
It’s going to be a good time. But it’ll be a great time if you came out. Peace and Blessings and Happy Juneteenth from Indy Juneteenth LLC. #IndyJuneteenth #PartyForTheCulture #juneteenth
